“We all have very busy days, but today I was rushing through the hospital trying to get to another part of the complex when a child shouted at me to stop. She was a patient that is now off treatment and had returned for a follow up appointment. She hugged and kissed me and asked if she could take a selfie with me. This brought a smile to my face and put me in a much better mood”. – MD, Children’s Hospital.
Today we set up our 300th Telemedical link to a hospital in Bangladesh. This hospital offers special services for disabled, violence victims, Electronic Health reports and analysis from grassroots level. There are 9 doctors and 10 supporting staff members.
Another new link was set up today to a teaching University Hospital in Eygpt. They have over 2000 medical trained staff and over 1500 beds. Hopefully they will learn from and teach others the importance of our Telemedicine system and our humanitarian work.
