International SOS – FREEPORT SITE

A new Swinfen Telemedical Link has been set up to a hospital in Papua, Indonesia. This is a 54 bed Community Hospital with two Doctors, Twenty Four nurses, a midwife, Pharmacist, Radiology and Laboratory technicians, and a hospital coordinator. With basic equipment and drugs.

As this is a Charitable hospital a Foundation has been set up for the Seven tribes, surrounding the hospital, so that they can receive treatment for free.

New Link in China

Qinghai Red Cross Hospital is a community public hospital with around 1400 beds and 1200 medical staff. Specialist services available on site include all internal medicines and surgical specialties apart from Cardio-thoracic surgical services and general paediatric services. all diagnostic equipment is available with the exception of nuclear medicine scanning. They have most up-to-date drugs on site and there is a governmental source available for those that are unable to pay for their treatment.
